A product of Ultradent, Opalescence PF is available in concentrations ranging from 10%, 15%, 20% and 35% depending on your preference of money, and it is custom made bleaching trays to use. To get the trays custom whitening your teeth, you will first need your dentist to take impressions of your teeth. Subsequently, the whitening gel Opalescence PF will be placed in the use made bleaching trays that are then mounted on the teeth. Opalescence PF contains potassium nitrate and fluoride, whose combination is effective in reducing the vulnerability of tooth decay, and for increased remineralization of enamel to strengthen teeth. When chilled, Opalescence PF has a lifespan of two years, and only one year when it is not refrigerated.

It is common for users of high concentration tooth whitening Opalescence PF formula to experience sensitivity in teeth. If you're one of those people, you can switch to a formula with a lower concentration such as 10%. Alternatively, you can use a desensitizing gel, such as freezing Ultra desensitization immediately after finishing the whitening process.
