I have a sonic toothbrush for several years and recently a musty smell. I clean the head, including the replacement and the replacement of Evry 6 months as indicated. Im wondering if the basis for setting dishwasher worked or if it would ruin? I sprayed Clorox Clean and works for about 2 days. Suggestions?

It's a bit strange. I keep a Sonic and I have never had this problem.

(Ps. I love, love, love the Sonic Care toothbrush and the fact that my dentist. He even thought that I floss, my teeth are very clean!)

So what I would say is that the plastic has absorbed some musty, moldy odors. I noticed that if you do not put the toothbrush on the head really well, water can get trapped underneath.

I soak them overnight in a 50/50 solution of white distilled vinegar and water. In order to neutralize any odor and DESOLVE any residual toothpaste or mold.
