Tooth Pain InfectionPosted on April 17, 2010. What can I do to reduce toothache or infection until I get to a dentist? I lost half my teeth recently and I am now pain at night and sensitivity to cold liquids. It seems to hurt on the left side of my jaw, even if only one tooth was affected. I rinse with hydrogen peroxide and am not sure what I should do for now until my appointment w / the dentist. You probably have a raw, edgy or irritated.
