Is there a way to strengthen the tooth enamel? I was chomping on ice cubes for almost my whole life and never realized it weakens the enamel of teeth. Now, since I recently got my braces removed, I feel much more impact. My teeth are very sensitive to temperature, and have more teeth than I did before.
So is there a way to strengthen enamel also daily brushing and flossing?
Check with your dentist about a fluoride treatment. It works.
Colgate made a toothpaste with liquid calcium, they say it helps strengthen the enamel.
You may also use Sensodyne toothpaste, which contains a form of iron that contributes to the sensitivity to temperature. Again, check with your dentist to ensure that you do not recoil from the gums a major cause of temperature sensitivity.
There is much literature today very credible sources that simply saying you do not get fluoride. It is very toxic to your body. Read the label on the container and you say do not give this to children under 6. Why? Flag
drink lots of milk. get a lot of supplements of calcium and vitamin D. It strengthens bones, including teeth
Yes there is. The problem is that if you live in America, it is not easy. Most people get enough calcium in their diet if they eat organic food that is grown on fertile soil and not treated with chemical fertilizers.
Dental enamel is composed primarily of minerals. The primary mineral is hydroxyapatite, which is a crystalline calcium phosphate, calcium from. Primitive man had no cavities because their diet contains many natural minerals and since he ate lots of raw foods, especially meat from animals that eat grass heavily mineralized. The cofactors required for proper digestion of calcium and other minerals, is a key factor in how the body digests calcium and calcium gets where it needs to go in order to create good "email", by example.
These cofactors are equally important for the actual construction of the enamel of the teeth while rich in calcium in your diet. As a good example of this, we cofactor as is the pH of the stomach. If this is not low enough, the calcium you consume does not simply absorbed and you can actually a calcium deficiency because of this. Also, if you're in a good number of electromagnetic fields (EMF) your body will deplete calcium. If you eat a lot of ascorbic acid as a single item, you deplete your calcium in your body.
Chomping ice should not weaken your enamel if the water contains no fluoride. One of the most important things that weaken the enamel using fluoride. It makes teeth more brittle. Assume that it strengthens teeth, but making it fragile, it does exactly the opposite. In fact, fluoride depletes the body of iodine which feeds all the organs of the body. If you want to strengthen your teeth, you need to meet the need cofactors which are:
Systemic pH
Hormones
Other minerals like calcium and more, such as magnesium, etc.
Vitamins
Essential fatty acids
Digestion
All these things must be addressed in order to strengthen the tooth enamel, in addition to obtaining good calcium in your body. pasteurized milk, as milk, are not good sources of calcium because the heat of pasteurization destroys quality calcium and have to be vitamin D in milk to force your body to absorb. This ends in calcium bone spurs, cataracts, kidney stones, etc if you drink lots of it. Raw milk has good calcium that is easily absorbed and is very active biologically.
Most likely the problem you are n.
