Why are not there efforts to promote environmental awareness in companies, which in turn produce so much pollution? For example, the Sonicare toothbrush, when the rechargeable battery is old, everything is thrown. Sending a lot of plastic in the environment. Why not Sonicare produce a model that we can open simply replacing the battery when the time to replace the battery to move?

I never use the Sonicare when a normal is just as good, so I do not really an argument personally. However, a Sonicare costs like 100 dollars to start. If Sonicare was to make it easier to simply replace a battery and all is well and good for the consumer, but not for them. If they can sell you a brand new Sonicare $ 100 that has mucho DeNiro and the fact you can afford one to begin with means you have no problem clamping 100 more dollars in their pocket.
I can not believe we are going to complain about dry hair. I work in a toolroom and we probably use more power in a minuet that every single American woman to blow drying their hair for a week.
I do not say energy conservation is not a problem, but your aim your gun at the wrong place. Households use about 10% of the total daily power output. Want to guess who uses the majority of the total production? Large companies and factories. Really all our (normal Americans every day) "sacrifice" for a better Bologna, health of the planet is. I do not care if manufactures do things harmful to the environment ..... HOW I care t.
