As we were all children, we have always been reminded of the importance of oral hygiene. It seems that children should not be the only ones to receive reminders, but also to adults. Good oral hygiene has a lot of personal and social benefits. Therefore it is important that we know the best ways to clean and floss effectively.

It is recommended that everyone should brush at least twice a day - once the morning and once before going to bed at night. Flossing should be part of the bathroom habits too, before sleeping at night. These activities of oral hygiene will promote healthy teeth and gums, prevent gum disease and keep the mouth free of odor-causing bacteria.

Since the bacteria that live in the mouth cause most dental problems, it is really important to keep this beautiful place and clean every time. Here are the steps on how you can really brush your teeth by brushing and flossing.

- Choose a toothbrush that has soft, rounded bristles so as not to scratch the enamel of your teeth or damage your gums.
- Ask your dentist which toothpaste is best for you or you can go ahead and take it with fluoride toothpaste.
- Warm water should be good for gargling.
- Position the brush at 45 degrees from the base of the gums. Concentrate on the area where the teeth and gums meet. This is mostly where the accumulation of bacteria.
- For front teeth, do some gentle up and down strokes and mini-circular strokes on the teeth. You can cover 2 teeth for each round.
- Angle your brush a little higher to reach the back of your front teeth. Half of your brush should be taken up and down strokes covering the gums and teeth.
- Going to the back teeth, you should vigorously, but still carefully use circular brushing strokes on them.
- Brush both sides - the side of the cheek and side of tongue inside teeth at the gum line very gently with the same high, low, circular movements.
- If you've a tongue scraper, scrape the back of the tongue gently. The shots will be outside from the bottom of the tongue toward the opening of the mouth.
- Mouthwash mouthwash if you want.
- Clean the toothbrush thoroughly with water at the tap. Allow to air dry. Do not let it touch other toothbrushes to prevent the spread of germs.

You know maybe because it is simple. Just remember to be careful where your gums are affected because there are very delicate tissues there.

- Snap at least 18 inches of wire and wrap your two index fingers with both ends so that there will be approximately 2 inches of wire between your hands
- Push the wire into the teeth by one until the contact area between the gum your teeth.
- Scrape the inside of your teeth with vertical lines to take any food gets stuck there and the accumulation of plaque.
- Do not snap the floss especially at the gum line to protect against damage gums.
- You can floss before or after brushing teeth.
