Peridex MouthwashPeridex failed? jaw wired

Hi I have my jaw wired.
I missed Peridex.
What can I use today to replace it?
mouthwash regularly?
What I have done, I rinse my mouth with the toothpaste foam. I do not know if it really helps, but worth a try

advice?

I was allergic to Peridex after my surgery for dental implants. My whole mouth, cheeks - gums - language was a mess throughout. Ouch! They told me to use salt water. So, put a teaspoon of salt in warm water and rinse in this regard. It really helps to heal. They said he would be allowed not to use the Peridex. But call the doctor and get a new prescription for tomorrow if the doctor believes you need it.

For the future. Do you have a water pik? It really helps to keep the mouth very clean if you mix it with half water and half peak vs mouthwash (alcohol free) helps keep own son. Just do not put the water pressure too high.

Peridex mouthwash is a drug ... nothing so really take the place of it. However, if you go one day, you can use warm salt water. Peridex is used to promote healing. The warm salt water will help keep things clean, which promote healing.
Sorry about your jaw ... Milk shakes are your friend. :)
