Parts Of The Mouth And Throat

long time since I was 10, every now and then the skin inside of my throat will grow a little lumpy white ball, the consistency of tofu. it was disturbing to me a few days ago and I had to take a flashlight and tweezers to remove it from the soft side of my throat. it does not seem to be a problem, it doesn't hurt or anything, I just want to know what it is. Is my body getting rid of waste? it is usually a gray or white btw.
