In comparison exercise products

This discussion is not an exhaustive comparison of bleaching offices or procedures available. However, I will try to provide some comparative information on some commonly used products so that you will be able to understand explanations of the system that your dentist has chosen to use.

I'll talk about eight different whitening systems in practice. I will compare each product with respect to the bleach used, the use of a light throttle, the average cost to the dentist for the light if it is, if a system at home is recommended that monitoring and the average duration of treatment have.

Nupro (R) White Gold / Illumine (TM)

Nupro (R) White Gold / Illumine (TM) is produced by Dentsply International. There is no need light for activation of this system and, therefore, no cost to the dentist for a light. The use of whitening system at home as a follow-up is considered optional (to be determined by a discussion with your dentist). The treatment takes just over an hour total. Specific applications of bleach takes 3 applications quinze minutes. It employs a staff of 35% hydrogen peroxide with a pH of about 6-8.

Niveous (TM) and Opalescence (R) Boost (TM)

There are two products that take into account a light accelerator option. These are Niveous (TM) and Shofu Opalescence (R) Extra Boost (TM) by Ultradent Inc. Both can be accelerated with a dental curing light, if desired. dental curing lights have other functions in the dental office and will already be held by the dentist, so no additional cost is required by the dentist for a light. At home bleaching monitoring is considered optional for both products. Niveous (TM) requires two applications of a hydrogen peroxide gel 25% with a pH of about 7 to 15 minutes each. Total time in the chair about 1 hour. Opalescence (R) requires three applications of 15 minutes and uses a hydrogen peroxide gel 38% with a pH of 7.

BriteSmile (R) and Zoom (R)

BriteSmile light throttle (R) and Zoom (R) are both manufactured by BriteSmile dental Discuss Inc. (R) requires either a gas plasma or LED (light emitting diode). The fires are the property of BriteSmile Inc. (which is bleaching systems have been purchased by Discuss Dental Inc.) and not by the dentist. Dentists are charged on a per patient. At home bleaching monitoring is considered optional. A hydrogen peroxide gel 15% with a pH of 6.5 is applied in two applications of 20 minutes with a time chairman of about 1 hour.

Zoom (R) requires a light metal halide mercury with a cost of about $ 1,500. At home bleaching is recommended as a follow-up. It comes in a little strength (16-25%) with a pH of 7.5. It operates in three 20 requests per minute with a time president of about 90 minutes.

LumaCool (TM)

LumaCool (TM) is made by LumaLite Inc. It requires the use of an accelerator of xenon halogen light, which ranges from $ 2,500 - $ 4,000. At home bleaching is recommended as a follow-up. It uses a hydrogen peroxide gel 35% with a pH of 6. Each bleaching session consists of three 8 applications minute with a full-time president of a little less than an hour.

Beyond (TM) Power

Beyond (TM) energy is produced by Beyond (TM) and dental health. It should not be confused with a product of the same name on the counter, beyond (TM). Beyond (TM) Power requires a halogen light accelerator running an average of a few thousand dollars. At home bleaching monitoring is considered optional. It uses a hydrogen peroxide gel 35% with a pH of about 5.5 which is applied in three to 10 applications per minute with a full-time chairman of less than one hour.

Lasersmile (TM)

The final product, I mean here is Lasersmile (TM) by Biolase Technology Inc. This product requires the use of a diode laser, which costs the dentist appr.
