I would say there is salt water and green tea is the least expensive options mixed with cold water.

So I think even black tea may have a sodium in what would be acceptable for a mouthwash.

Of course, there is a risk of staining from black tea, but Id be curious to know if overall black tea makes the gums and teeth healthy. The spots do not mean they are necessarily unhealthy.

Rinsing with warm salt water. I think you should buy a certain type of mouthwash. If you're not sure what to use, talk to your dentist. The mouthwash fights cavities, bad breath, infection and keeps your mouth clean.
