Inner Mouth Sores

Posted on January 2, 2010.
Inner Mouth SoresWhat causes sores on both sides of the inner mouth at the same place.?

I had a small open sores, one on each side of my inner mouth (cheek) for several months. They are located almost at the level of my upper teeth. I thought they were the sores, but they will not disappear. They do not hurt and are not inflated. Ideas?

Could the opening of the parotid gland (saliva) glands? They are near the top molars. Maybe they were there all the time and you just noticed them?
