How should I be careful with Herpes Simplex Virus-1? My grandmother carried HSV-1, all his life. At the time, the sores are not recognized as being linked to herpes, and no one knew how fast they can cause genital herpes, so people were not careful about the virus at all. Well, the virus is inherited, so I knew there was a chance that I had. And this week, I experienced my first cold sore. Now, I know he is dangerously contagious, because when the first went wrong I touched it and rubbed my eyes in the same day, and now I have pink eyes, and I gave my husband ... arghhhhh! I want to be cautious on this point, here are my questions:
1) How contagious virus after healing wound up?
2) Can my husband have already contracted me sexually, even though I had no open wound?
3) After the healing of sore, how long should I wait before returning to sexual activity?
4) Is he dead-set that my children have the virus?
5) How am I contagious to others in the street, people at work, etc.?
You have been so misinformed
* HSV-1 is not hereditary
* You can spread it by kissing or drinking from the same glass if you have an open wound.
* Once the wound is dry and clear, you are no longer contagious.
* Your children will get it if you kiss or drink after them in the same glass, when you have an open wound.
* You are not contagious to people in the street.
* You can switch HSV-1 to the genital area by performing oral sex if you have an open wound to wait until it is dry and removed.
* You do not think you can get pink eye HSV-1, but you can gonorrhea, chlamydia and other bacterial infections.
* The one and only thing you can do with them to wash their hands is YOUR after touching the infected area to prevent its spread.
If you want more information on HSV-1 to talk to your doctor.
I'm glad you now have the peace of mind. You should always consult your physician on the subject. They will give you more information to help you more.

Oooh ... You have a lot of misinformation out there.
* This is not hereditary.
* You can switch to another person if you kiss on the mouth or let them drink in your cup when you have an open wound.
* This is not sexually transmitted - that is the herpes-2.
* Did I mention that you can transmit herpes-1 by sharing cups, kissing on the mouth when you have a wound?
conjunctivitis? Damn. This is not how you pink eye. And what have you done ... rub-goo eyes in your eye husbands?
go to the doctor and ask him questions, seriously.
Zodiac gave an excellent detailed response. I would not need to add anything.
