Gingival Flap

Gingival Flapgingival flap and bone graft???

I have to do this procedure and I'm really scared. I did some research on it and it does not sound fun. Anyone have this done?

I agree with the previous answer that this will be painless during the procedure because you will be numb. However, later he will be sensitive.
Handy with analgesics and tender when you brush. It is worth investing in a special (extra soft) toothbrush for patients who had surgery.
You will feel it for about a week. Make sure you keep it clean as any plaque will cause more irritation.
You can help healing by rinsing with saline (salt - about half a teaspoon in a glass of water).
Many people have this and you will be allowed. If you are super scared, you can always ask for sedation. It will not help the postoperative symptoms, however, you do not remember anything of this process.
Goos luck!

BLOOM,
I did some of my patients and the procedure is painless.
YOU anesthetic into the area to be operated so that you do not feel any pain.
