What kind of toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash and is really really "recommended by dentists? As they all say "dentist recommended benefits I receive cavities easily, and I wondered who toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, and it would be best to protect against cavities. I do not really need a breath freshener (sp?). What kind do you suggest I use?
Here's what we recommend to my office:
Toothbrushes: soft bristle manual toothbrush. We also recommend Crest Spin Sonicare toothbrush and electric toothbrushes. Electric toothbrushes are more effective in removing plaque.
Toothpaste: Crest Pro Health or Colgate Total. Both are multifunctional. As long as the toothpaste has fluoride in the, it will help prevent against tooth decay.
Mouthwash: Listerine or Crest Pro Health for antimicrobial and fluoride mouth rinse ACT for anti cavity.
And be sure to floss once a day! Thats a biggie with the prevention of cavities!
So, how many cavities do you have? since you get so easily ... lol
I like Colgate Total Mint paste clean, try to brush more often if you do not get more cavities. and if you want white teeth, try Crest White Stripes premium over (I know different brand but it works very well) Good luck!
Colgate or Crest
The American Dental Association has approved only a few brands of toothpaste, Listerine is the only mouthwash ADA approved.
Never use a medium or hard toothbrush and Always Always Always floss.
the stamp of the American Dental Association ADA means they approve.
