Dentist PicturesDD fell in kindergarten and busted lip and mouth, she should go see a dentist? Pictures included?

Hello all!
My daughter just turned 3 has been at school when she fell. According to the professor, they were at the playground and she ran up the equipment and missed a step and fell.
She busted her upper lip and mouth. Now, she still had a swollen lip after 24 hours and gum above the tooth has a bruise on her. I wondered if she should see a dentist, or will it ok ....
Her tooth is loose, but his mouth is always painful.

Here is a photo taken 1 week before the fall

Here is a photo taken about 20 minutes after the fall. I had to go and look at the school.

Thank you for all comments and suggestions

If the tooth is loose, I do not think I'd worry too much about your account to see a dentist. Unless she complains of her teeth hurt after a few days. Did she eat ice chips or lollipops to help keep the swelling down. It is still fairly new, so yes, it will be painful and swollen for several days. Give him some Tylenol for pain. poor kid! : (Mine broke the lip escape the crib for the first time before and that's what I gave. Also keep it clean. You can use hydrogen peroxide as a cleaning agent (dilute first with a little water) and put it on a cotton swab or cotton ball and apply on lips. You can also have its flush with it (do not swallow, he is evil!) You want to keep an eye if it seems more red or irritated, then you may want to call a doc. This could be a sign of infection.

Kids fall and have accidents. You have an advantage because it is documented at the school. Some people could do this as abuse.

I do not see the bruise on top of the tooth very good. When my son had a tooth weakened after a similar incident (he was 9) I was told that we should have a root canal. It goes well, did not need one, and the dentist was more cautious. It is now 21. While she feels hot and cold, without much pain extreme than normal, I'd say she did not need to go. If you have insurance, I take it.

BTW, she is very cute. Also, his age, he is a baby tooth, and will be replaced by a permanent thereafter. I bet she heals very well. Meanwhile, some anbesol can relieve extreme pain, teething tablets help oral pain, and some Tylenol if she is uncomfortable othewise.

poor baby! My 3 year old daughter and 3x over the past 2 years has had his front teeth through his lower lip and once bit his tongue so badly bruised and he had a cut deep enough into it. Much blood and frightening. I felt so bad, she does it all the time too: (Your daughter will be fine, mouth wounds heal quickly, fortunately. "She smiled in the photo 3rd and I'm sure she does well. Just keep it clean and everything goes well, I have not taken my daughter to the dentist or doctor or other times and it heals very well.

and gums irritated look, but if it hurts or is loose I probably wouldnt worry, if it is not an adult tooth.

I think it will be fine. She smiled even with the bruises. My son has problems and clumsiness he is steadily falling in a while things h.
