Dental Options

Posted on February 1, 2010.
Dental OptionsWhat are the options for dental care for uninsured?

I make pretty good money, but my company did not have dental insurance and I do not really want to drop $ 1,000 for a crown. Are there options for those who have no dental insurance, but are not eligible for places low-income Medicaid or other?

I really have a problem with the way our government is to treat medical problems of its citizens. I have no dental either, and believe me, after having to spend seven hundred dollars for two teeth to remove more anesthesia was mortified. It takes at least one job. I did not because I am on disability (no prescription is CoV). What are people like us supposed to do? I suppose we have two choices. Let your teeth rot and fall off or go to a private dentist, and pay through the nose. In your case, because you're employed, and make a good salary, you should be able to pay on a payment plan with your dentist, as they did. Why not try to see if they have a dental school in your area? If they do, I take a chance, depending on the severity of your problem. I think it would be cheaper than a private dentist.

You might get a crown enamel instead of a silver crown of gold /. I had a dog, halved a few years ago and we could not a metal crown, so we went for the enamel, it has cost us hundreds.

Posey, I feel your pain (financial-wise, that is).

Why not go to the link below! You can have access to quality dental care at a substantial discount for less than $ 20 per month. And choose from more than 30,000 dentists nationwide.

Good luck!

hi.thanks to post an interesting question. I had the same "problem". notice is - find a good dentist is a must. second to find a dentist honest, it does not. two. third find a dentist who will give you different options to fix your teeth, or teeth. not every dentist solve the same problem the same way. There are other options "sometimes" a channel, etc. to discuss and ask these questions. Finally and certainly not go to the Internet and learn as much as you can about the problem you have the tooth and then - put the questions to your dentist ... and wish yourself good luck ... and pray .... helps.

1. Open a savings account for dental expenses.
2. Take deductions for expenses not reimbursed.
3. Evaluate plans tooth reduction.
4. Pay a fee of dollars before taxes.
5. visit dental schools.
6. Get a credit card with no interest.
7. Check the plans proposed by professional associations.
8. Practice, prevent defense.

Barrow you could get money or an additional job

Some dental offices offer ins. for $ 25 and it is your job for half off ........ I facets ...... they were a 900,00 aech ..... I had 4 ..... and then got half off.

Make your neighborhood gangs angry and they can remove your teeth in one second

im in the same boat. My job offers Dental, but its way expensive. then I will do my dental work near the office and I paid in payments. directly to the office. Find a dental office and ask if you can pay in payments. I do not think your have a problem with that.

dental schools or places that allow you to pay on a sliding scale. It sucks when you work and can not afford to have dental care. However, when money from taxpayers to those on social assistance receive the best treatment and they did not work. Go to Oregon, California or Minnesota and focus on their health plans.

I'm not 100% sure it is true, but I heard that dental schools offer deep discounts to provide teeth for students to learn. The drawbacks of this option, of course, is that you could find yourself with a little drop of drilling the tooth pieces. The question in all branches of medical training is, what do you call a doctor who graduates last in his class ?.... you name it.
