Dental Hygienist PayPosted on March 12, 2010. Can a dental hygienist pay will depend on the degree? Can a dental hygienist afford better with a Bachelor of an associate degree? If so how do they pay? So what is a good community college in California to get a dental hygienist program easier? And if I get an associate degree, can I work in health care in schools or government enterprise? The salary is the same. Dentists do not care too much what degree you have, you are good in your work. The degree opens more doors if you want to go the way of business and work for one of the major companies. Moreover, its important if you want to go into teaching or research. My wife version of BA because it could try to make a business some day. Yes. Their level of education is very important as in any field. Find out what you want below. I would never hire a hygienist who does not have a degree. If I hire someone to really treat my patients I expect to have a more advanced education available. if I did not have a hygienist with a Bachelor available, then obviously I'll pay a bit less to someone who is less educated.
