You might as well ask you whether you should be a plumber or the president. These two are incredibly different.

However, a perfusionist would have a greater ability to move to other countries if they could transfer their certification, and if they could find an opening in a program of heart. There is a need for qualified perfusionist, as vitually no one has ever heard of the position. But at the same time, everyone has teeth, the world has not heart surgery.

In my travels in other countries, I found a great need for dental hygienist, but I doubt they use them often.

Well there are soo many other profession are the potential to earn more .. but if you want to make a choice among the two options u mentioned ..
then its definitely perfusionist ... coz its a niche where theres little competition and it is easy for u to settle ...

Do not just think about pay, think about the life you want to drive when you visit one of these countries. Ask about working hours, holidays, etc. before you decide - not trying to experience life in a different country if you work all the time.

jobs tend to pay more than the same no matter where you are in the west. You must be very well qualified otherwise obtain work visas can be problematic. A large consulting firm Deloitte as you will move from country to country every year or so if you do a good job. There are also jobs listed on JobServer contract in Russia and the Middle East for which work permits are generally not a problem. I've never looked for jobs Hygienist but I do not see why they would not need them. If you want to earn money and work trip for KBR or join the army.
