Is it possible that your baby has celiac disease?? There is an inability to digest barley grain, oats, wheat and rye because of a sensitivity to gluten which is a compound found in cereals .... Mouth ulcers and dermatitis corners of the mouth are common in celiac disease .. .......... alternating bouts of diarrhea and constipation, bloating and gas are also common symptoms.

Take your baby on a qualified naturopath or doctor nutritionally oriented so that you can be fully assessed.

The gluten damages the cells lining the small intestine and the mucosal surface becomes flat, losing the normal folds known as villi. These damaged cells in the mucosa are unable to absorb nutrients from food and severe nutritional deficiencies may occur.

Celiac disease is often hereditary. The disease can begin at any age and in children, it appears after weaning on food containing gluten. In adults it usually begins during the ten third and fourth, and more common among women.

The symptoms are usually very gradual in onset and may begin with simple fatigue. Common symptoms include abdominal intestinal discomfort, bloating, diarrhea and weight loss. It is very difficult to absorb fat from food. This makes the actions of the large intestine, pale and fatty, so they tend to float above the water and are difficult to throw into the toilet.

food intolerances and vitamin deficiencies can have a wide range of side affects our health and vitality.

Peace baby

I suffered from mouth sores for years and have found that acidic fruits, tomatoes and barbecue sauces aggravates this situation. My selections fruit, bananas, blueberries, mangoes and canned peaches and pears. Ask your pharmacist if there is a paste or gel topically to help. The wounds may be caused by a certain type of food allergy. Good luck.
