Refrigerators and baking soda - do they really go together? We have all raided the refrigerator for a child. While hunting for the best meal available, we have sought here and there. One thing you probably noticed the presence of sodium bicarbonate, often in the little orange box. So, all that is the agreement with baking soda and a refrigerator?
Give me convenience or give me death! This seems to be the theme of our modern world. The truth, however, is the convenience is often unnecessary. I was watching TV the other night and I saw an advertisement on some incredible products that would eliminate odors in the refrigerator and freezer. I laughed. Why? There is absolutely no reason to spend much money on such a product, because that is exactly what baking soda does.
Your refrigerator is obviously full of food, beverages and condiments. Everyone has their own smell. Mixed together, they can be pretty rank. Long ago, someone discovered a box of baking soda would suck odors. A tradition was born out of cooking and baking soda company has a huge hit on their hands involuntarily.
So how do you use baking soda to eliminate odors? It is very simple. Buy a small box. Take home. Open it. Stick it in the refrigerator or freezer. Replace every three months or sooner if odors are beginning to occur. Yes, it is really easy and you certainly do not need to pay for a new magical product available in the infomercials on TV!
Like an infomercial, however, it is just better. Yes, baking soda is also a cleaner. Pour into small bowl, add water and mix until a dough. Now it applies to any stains or rust stains in your refrigerator. Scrub with a sponge and ... Walla! Stains and rust should be gone.
Baking soda is a substance rather surprising. For under $ 10, you can get three months of the odor killer and cleaning your refrigerator.
