Breath LaserPosted on March 11, 2010. Has anyone got laser surgery on the nose Pugs to help them breathe? My pug is 4 months fixed this month and the vet said he could do laser surgery on his nose while under help him breathe and I wanted to know if anyone has had done for their Pug. Is it worthwhile or a waste of money??? I did not do it, but I attended while in progress. with surgery of the nose (nostrils) of the nose are cut a little bit to help them open. Dogs who have been breathing better almost instantly. No, it seems cruel. Simply pugs have bad manners to breathe anyway. The vet I work for has done for many dogs with stenotic nares (narrow nostrils). Most dogs, she has made brachycephalic breeds such as pugs. It's worth the money, because it opens up the airways a little more and makes breathing a little easier for those poor dogs. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Popular My Friends |
