Blisters Around Mouth

Posted on March 24, 2010.
Blisters Around MouthI have a little pain of fever blisters around my mouth. What can I use?

I think I have since I had surgery and took some Percocet, which made me very constipated. I'm better now, execept for these sores or cold sores ... any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Try using lip balm or petroleum jelly, they are both good for chapped or windburn skins.Do you drink the minimum amount of water your body need? I hope you helped.

Try a product called Abreva. This is a prescription medication that you put on the actual cold sores.

I've never used it myself, but a pharmacist had recommended both for me and I see ads all the time for that. It is supposed to speed up the healing process.

Good luck and I hope you will feel better soon.

The essential oil of tea tree topical is amazing, you can find in most health food stores or naturopaths. Many pharmacies carry it too, but it depends what country you are in.

Witch hazel is also good topical (it is usually found in the first section of the help of your pharmacy. It is distilled, usually in alcohol, alcohol helps too)

You can also try Polysporin ointment (not cream!), Has an antibiotic in it and is good for healing.

Try not to use anything with steroids in it if, as they usually come back a few days or weeks after you stop using it (it simply removes it does get rid of it)

Try using carbolic Campho-you can buy in any pharmacy near you.

Go to a health food store and buy L-Lysine, an amino acid suppliment. Take two immediately, then approximately every 6-8 hours to take one, a total of four doses per day until lights go. In addition to ice up, or a cold compress on the blisters for about ten minutes at a time. The store clerk health products will also tell you to avoid eating nuts and chocolate during an epidemic. You should have a noticeable improvement within 24 hours. To prevent secondary infection (impetigo), keep the area clean - do not be picking or touching with dirty fingers, or at least. It is a contagious disease. Avoid towels community, etc. Once you've had, you are able to find it. If you suspect another home in the future, begin with L-Lysine and ice routine immediately to avoid significant lamp.

They called this chap stick Carmex or you can use an ice pack if it gets Swole. And the ice, it is insensitive alittle

They are Herpes Simplex, go to WebMD, wicked

I use Blistex whenever I get a cold sore or very dry lips. You must get the drug if the non-medicated Blistex simply hydrate your lips.

A counter on the product called Abbrev which is a gel in a small tube will dry so they will disappear.
