Bad GumsPosted on February 25, 2010. Bad breath (halitosis) - avoid it and cure We all found ourselves talking with someone whose bad breath can strip the skin of the face of Superman. And let's face it, we've all been at the other end of things where everyone in a radius of ten meters seems inexplicably lost consciousness. In my case, it tends to be a time I drank a glass or two and it is easy to convince me that people are collapsing in response to my cheerful spirit city (ok, maybe after more than two drinks ). The important point is that if we are aware of the problem, we can do something to heal and make us healthy again - and if we understand the causes of the problem, we can do something right There are basically two types of halitosis (bad breath): short-term and chronic (long). (Get used to the brackets because, considering how much they annoy me, I seem to use many of them In the short term halitosis is caused by food and beverages. I am not talking about garlic or curry, which have aromas that do not know where to pack up and leave you in peace, I mean things like coffee and cheese, leaving behind a rotten smell none of this is the original substance. So if you dunk pieces of cheese in your coffee, you have a problem - in more than one! (Sorry for the exclamation point, I hate it! Exclamation! Brands, more than the media! But I do not want people to think there is a serious disease characterized by repetitive dip the cheese - although there has perhaps!) Chronic bad breath is caused by one or more of the following: 1. Poor oral hygiene - leading to stagnation of food, plaque buildup, tooth decay, gingivitis (gum disease) and periodontal disease (gum disease really bad causing bone loss that supports the teeth). And I must tell you, numbers 1 and 2 are so far ahead of the 3 and 4. If you have chronic bad breath, overwhelming probability suggest that you either are not enough to keep your mouth clean or you do something to hurt you. That, of course, is bad, but more effective in another because you can do something - if you know what to do. Incidentally, while I smugly pontificating about hurting you, let me draw your attention back to the party on bone loss in the above list. You have probably worked if you lose enough bone, teeth become loose. Lose enough bones and teeth fall out, or become such a nuisance that you want them removed. In the human body, there is nothing wrong in isolation. As this is a piece of self-help and both post-nasal drip and general medical conditions require professional intervention, I will not go into here. If you carefully do all that I am about to suggest, and you still have a problem, consult your dentist or your GP pronto. QUESTIONS oral hygiene Let's assume the smell coming from inside your mouth, rather than by mouth also. There are three possible sites: 1. Gums. GUMS People talk about gum disease as if it was something you might get if you're unlucky - or the flu, such as Ebola. Sorry, but this is not what it is. In most cases, if you have problems with gum, because over a long period of time, you do not do something that you should have done. None of us likes to take the blame for our own shortcomings and would rather explain that we were late for work because an alien mothership sprayed the bus to apologize because we could not be arsed to out of bed this morning. Well, you might as well blame a bad hair day on "computer problems. Healthy gums are firm, pink dots, like orange zest. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Popular My Friends |
